I don't really like poetry, I don't nessecarily understand poetry, in fact a fairly large part of my brain feels that poetry is a cop out to writing a full piece of literature that's comprehensive and fufilling. Even though that last thought may border on ignorant, I support it because I never felt there was a mode or niche for poetry anything other than... well to serve people who like poetry.
However, this was before the poetry project in Mr. Masson's class, (the class I was previously told would be a movie watching fiesta, but turned out to be a media examination class that was comprised of more effort, on my part, than any other elective I have taken thus far).
The poetry project was a great success for me mainly because it significantly decreased my hatred of poetry to such an extreme where I'm in a state of favor that could be best be descibed as a fairly liberal swiss nation. Also, it greatly increased my love for the green screen and production, photoshopping, and editing process of "short film" creation.
Let me explain further...
